Predictive Maintenance Services

Predictive Maintenance
Predictive Maintenance services

Condition Monitoring Analytics purpose is to provide you with options for designing your Predictive Maintenance (PdM) program the way you want it.

Our predictive maintenance services are created to be flexible and sustainable.  Regardless of your budget, training or available personnel we want to provide you with solutions where you have control.  We offer in-house, hybrid or completely outsourced programs that keep your program sustainable regardless of what your business climate looks like.

What is Predictive Maintenance (PdM)?

Predictive Maintenance services is a process of monitoring equipment in effort to identify components or parts that have entered a failure mode.  Predictive Maintenance programs usually incorporate technologies (tools) capable of capturing early fault conditions.  Some of these tools include: vibration data collectors, online vibration systems, remote vibration systems, infrared camera’s, ultrasound devices and electric motor testing.

What is Vibration Analysis?

Vibration analysis or monitoring is one of the most widely used techniques for the identification of faults in rotating equipment.  There are many applications for detecting machine vibration and processing  or extracting signals for review.  Machine vibration is often do to unbalance, misalignment, mechanical looseness, bearing wear  (and many other fault zones) when operating.

Why implement Vibration Analysis?

  • Opportunity to measure cost avoidance
  • Reduce maintenance cost and equipment downtime.
  • Reduce risk of EHS (environmental, health & safety.
  • Reduced risk of unexpected breakdown or shutdown.
  • Labor & Equipment cost are reduced.
  • Create a culture driven to understand why equipment has failed.

Hybrid vibration program solution

Step 1 (Plan it)

  • Identify your initial vibration program scope and how often you plan to collect data (Monthly, Bi-Monthly or Quarterly).
  • Generate your machine-list count planned for your program.
  • Purchase one of our powerful and affordable data collector.
  • Condition Monitoring Analytics will build your database, routes and machine configurations for you.
  • We train your team on proper data collections techniques.

Step 2 (Prepare for Execution)

  • Send vibration data each month to one of our certified vibration analyst.
  • Condition Monitoring Analytics will analyze vibration data to identify machinery fault conditions on collected data.

Step 3 (Program Execution)

  • Finally, reports will be generated and delivered to your team for corrective actions.

Outsourced vibration program

Step 1 (Plan it)

  • Generate machine-list (count) planned for program.
  • Condition Monitoring Analytics will perform equipment walk-down.
  •  Identify any safety concerns or hard to reach areas at your facility.
  • Identify your initial vibration program scope and how often you plan to collect data (Monthly, Bi-Monthly or Quarterly).
  • Develop quote for identified scope.

Step 2 (Prepare for Execution)

  • Condition Monitoring Analytics will create database, build routes and configure machines for proper data collection.
  • In the case where permanently installed accelerometers are required, arrangements can be made for installation date(s).

Step 3 (Program Execution)

  • Program owner will receive notification one week prior to scheduled site visit.
  • Technicians begin regularly scheduled site visits to collect vibration data.
  • Finally, reports will be generated and delivered to your team for corrective actions.

Infrared Thermography Services

Electrical Infrared Surveys provide you with insight into the condition of your electric equipment.  Faulty connections are identified and reported for corrective actions.  Let Condition Monitoring Analytics survey your electrical system and keep you from premature failure that could lead to a catastrophic event! No Fires! Safety First!

Thermal energy is the result of an object having a temperature that can be measured and viewed by means of today’s Infrared cameras.  The value of Infrared cameras in the home, commercial and industrial setting is being able to measure precise temperatures within the cameras field of view and making informative decisions about a temperature(s) heat signature.

Most equipment failures begin to show signs of heat prior to failure (electrical or mechanical).  Infrared surveys performed on equipment provides our analyst the opportunity to determine the failure location and severity to offer suggestions for corrective action ahead of the failing component(s).
